The Oneida Street Department is responsible for maintaining the public streets within the city limits of Oneida.
From major street repair projects to minor debris clean-up in the aftermath of wind storms, Oneida’s street crews keep roadways clear and passable for motorists. During the spring, summer and fall, the Street Department also conducts all right-of-way mowing on state and city roads through town.
In addition to ROW mowing, a major component of the Street Department’s duties is keeping roads passable during the winter months. In the aftermath of winter storms, street crews are dispatched with plows, salt and gravel chips to work all streets within the town, often beginning to clear the roads before the snow has even stopped falling.
The Street Department supervisor is Kevin Terry. Contact the Street Department through the Mayor’s Office.
