Planning Commission

The Oneida Planning Commission is responsible for viewing matters related to zoning, annexation and related business before recommendations are presented to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen.

Recreation Board

The Recreation Board is responsible for developing parks and recreation policies and recommendations for the Board of Mayor and Aldermen.

Industrial Development Board

The Industrial Board is responsible for working with prospective industrial employers to find suitable facilities within the town and locate grant money and low-interest loan money. The board meets quarterly.

Beer Board

The Beer Board is responsible for issuing beer retail permits and enforcing ordinances related to the sale of alcoholic beverages within the town’s corporate limits. The town’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen serve as the Beer Board.

Water Board

The Water Board is responsible for setting policy for the town’s Water & Wastewater Department, which provides water and sewer to customers inside and outside Oneida’s corporate limits. The town’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen serve as the Water Board.
