The Town of Oneida is hosting a public meeting to gather input on its transportation Safety Action Plan. The goal of the
Safety Action Plan is to eliminate fatalities and serious injuries on roadways throughout
Oneida.
Residents are encouraged to share locations where they have experienced crashes,
near misses, unsafe driving, speeding, limited visibility, or concerns while walking,
biking, or driving. This input will help the Town identify safety needs and prioritize
practical improvements.

About the Project
The Town of Oneida was awarded a Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) planning
grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to develop a comprehensive Safety
Action Plan. The plan will identify priority safety needs and recommend projects,
policies, and strategies to reduce fatal and serious injury crashes. The Town can also
use the completed plan to support future grant applications and pursue funding for
recommended safety improvements
