NOTICE OF PUBLIC SURVEYS HUNTSVILLE AND ONEIDA PARKS AND RECREATION MASTER PLAN
The Towns of Huntsville and Oneida were awarded a grant from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation’s Local Parks and Recreation Fund
in 2017 to develop a 10-year master plan for improve- ments to the existing and future parks and recreation facilities in the Towns. Community-wide surveys were carried out in November, 2017 to gain the communi- ty’s input and priorities regarding existing and future parks.
Due to issues with the results of the previous survey, an additional survey is being conducted. Even if youfilled out a previous survey, we ask that you provideyour responses to this survey as well, as responses
to this survey will be taken into consideration along with the previous responses collected. The survey willremain open until July 5, 2018.
The “TOWNS OF HUNTSVILLE AND ONEIDA PARKS AND RECREATION SURVEY” can be found online
at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ScottCo2017V2.The link will be posted on the Towns’ websites and social media. Paper copies will be available at several other outlets, including (1) Oneida and Huntsville Town Halls, (2) Oneida and Huntsville Public Libraries and
(3) Scott County Courthouse. The survey will only take about ten minutes to complete. Citizens of Huntsville and Oneida are encouraged to complete the survey online or return completed paper surveys to Huntsville Town Hall or Oneida Town Hall by July 5th.
