Town unveils new website

Oneida Mayor Jack E. Lay today unveiled the town's new website, designed to provide a better flow of information to residents and visitors of the town.

The website,, includes information about the town's government and services and important information relevant for living, working and visiting the Town of Oneida.

"We're pleased to announce our new website and we hope our citizens and visitors find it helpful," Mayor Lay said. "A web presence is a vital way to provide a glimpse of Oneida to folks who live away from here as more and more of them visit the places we have to offer here, such as the Big South Fork, and as we attract economic growth to the region."

Mayor Lay said the website could allow for expanded online services in the future.

The Town of Oneida worked in conjunction with Scott County Government to create the website as part of County Mayor Jeff Tibbals' initiative to expand the online presence of Scott County communities.
